A total of 75 students participated in a LIFE INSULAR project training day. The event consisted of a course for the accreditation of guides of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia, thus bringing the work carried out for the conservation of the flora and habitats of the archipelago closer to future professionals.
During the activity, the participants were able to learn about the objectives and actions of LIFE INSULAR, as well as the importance of conserving the natural values of protected island and coastal areas. The day included the planting of camariñas, an opportunity to learn first-hand about the coastal flora conservation and restoration actions promoted by the project.
From LIFE INSULAR, we would like to thank the National Park staff for their daily work in the conservation of the islands’ natural heritage and for their collaboration in disseminating initiatives that contribute to protecting biodiversity.
