On May 23, 2026, an informative day was held in the Corrubedo Natural Park under the motto “See to understand: researching biodiversity in Galicia’s protected areas”. The activity took place in the auditorium of the Casa da Costa Visitor Center, Vilar, Carreira, Ribeira, between 10:30 and 1:00 p.m.
The program started with a presentation of the LIFE INSULAR project, entitled “Islands in balance. A LIFE project for island restoration”, followed by various presentations on nesting birds, endangered flora species, artisanal wells, and mycological diversity.
