On April 30, the first Spanish Macaronesian Monitoring Commission meeting of LIFE INSULAR was held in Lanzarote (Canary Islands), at the headquarters of Centro Isla de La Graciosa. The meeting allowed for the monitoring of the carried out actions in the project archipelagos, providing an external and broader perspective on its progress.
Participants in the Commission included legal representatives from OAPN, TRAGSA, IBADER-USC, Cabildo de Lanzarote, Ayuntamiento de Teguise, Servicio de Ordenación del Litoral, as well as environmental NGOs, and various experts involved in the conservation of island ecosystems.
