On Saturday 18th April, LIFE INSULAR staff attended the LIFE On Machair quilt celebration. This special event was held for the Erris community at the Áras Inis Gluaire arts centre in Belmullet (Co. Mayo).
The event was a true display of celebration of creativity, community, and craftsmanship, as this local wonderful quilting group launched the second beautiful quilt full of machair details, honouring a priority habitat for biodiversity conservation.
