On March 24, the first Atlantic Monitoring Commission meeting of LIFE INSULAR was held in Vigo (Galicia), at the headquarters of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Galician Atlantic Islands. The meeting allowed for the monitoring of the actions that the project has carried out to date in Cíes, Ons, and Sálvora archipelagos, providing an external and broader perspective on its progress.
Participants in the Commission included legal representatives from DXPN, TRAGSA, and IBADER-USC, as well as other agencies with competencies (in matters of coasts and ports), environmental NGOs, and various experts involved in the conservation of island ecosystems.
