On April 11, 2025, the Minister of the Environment and Climate Change (Xunta de Galicia) visited the Island of Cortegada, to learn first-hand about the replication work of the LIFE INSULAR strategy in this archipelago, and to positively assess the restoration of island ecosystems as a strategy for the conservation of biodiversity and the fight against climate change.
