On January 15, 16 and 17, the XXIV Seminar on Population Genetics and Evolution was held at the Parador de Mazagón (Huelva), organized by the SEG (Spanish Society of Genetics) and the Pablo Olavide University of Seville. This event served to share the most recent results of the different lines of research developed in the field of genetics at the Iberian level.
LIFE INSULAR presented the results of the genetic diversity and kinship relationships of the island species analyzed by the project in the Iberian Peninsula. The audience was able to learn firsthand the most notable conclusions of the project, and the proposed management and conservation measures for these species.
