2025/11/21: The Canary Cinderella (Day of Parks and the Natura 2000 Network)

In connection with the celebration of the day of the Parks and the Natura 2000 Network and in relation to the dissemination activities of the LIFE INSULAR project, the Organismo Autónomo de Parques Nacionales (OAPN) carried out an activity consisting of two talks and a contact. The activity was held on November 23 on the island of La Graciosa, at the Inocencia Páez Sociocultural Center, in the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park.

The first of the talks was about the day of the Parks and the Natura 2000 Network and was given by Pablo García, director of the La Graciosa Island Center of the Organismo Autónomo de Parques Nacionales. Later, a talk was given about the species Cincenta Pardela (Calonectris diomedea) by Jeremías Cabrera, member of the Friends of the Pardelas association. Finally, the storytelling session for families ended with the Cory's Shearwater as the protagonist and with the aim of promoting its conservation. The narration was led by Isabel Cabrera.
