On February 25 and March 22, 2022, the kick-off meetings of LIFE INSULAR project took place between the project partners. The first one was held at the headquarters of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of Galician Atlantic Islands, between the Spanish partners of the project (IBADER-USC, DXPN, OAPN, TRAGSA). The second one, by videoconference, was held between the coordinator (IBADER-USC) and the Irish project partners (NPWS, COILLTE). The meetings served to discuss about the Grant Agreement and bilateral agreements between partners, the formation of work teams and the establishment of the project steering committee.
The meetings also allowed to establish the joint planning of the project for 2022, fundamentally related to the start of the preparatory work for the characterization of the target habitat types and the technical planning of conservation actions.
